Since his victory at the Warsaw Chopin Competition in 2000, Chinese pianist Yundi has established himself as one of the leading interpreters of the Romantic repertoire, a specialty of which he has made his mark throughout the world.
Violinist Clara-Jumi Kang is an artist of supreme musicianship, impeccable refinement, and poise, as evidenced by the numerous awards and honors she has received since bursting onto the scene by winning the Indianapolis International Violin Competition in 2010, following successes at the Seoul Violin Competition (2009) and the Sendai Violin Competition (2010).
Her cycle of Beethoven violin sonatas with pianist Sunwook Kim, released by Accentus last season, received excellent reviews and nominations.
