The "Trout" Quintet invites conviviality and the Quintet for two cellos opens infinite horizons that the members of the Streichquartett of the Berlin Staatskapelle associated with the pianist Elisabeth Leonskaja and the cellist Franz Helmerson will be able to raise to the highest peaks.
Violinist Clara-Jumi Kang is an artist of supreme musicianship, impeccable refinement, and poise, as evidenced by the numerous awards and honors she has received since bursting onto the scene by winning the Indianapolis International Violin Competition in 2010, following successes at the Seoul Violin Competition (2009) and the Sendai Violin Competition (2010).
Her cycle of Beethoven violin sonatas with pianist Sunwook Kim, released by Accentus last season, received excellent reviews and nominations.
