Liza Ferschtman is a Dutch violinist highly regarded for the quality of her performances and the composition of her programs. Her musical and technical talents naturally allow her to be extremely communicative on stage.
Born into a family of Russian musicians, music was part of her existence from a very young age.
She entered the Amsterdam Conservatory where she attended Herman Krebbers' class, then continued her training at the Curtis Institute in Philadelphia with Ida Kavafian and finally finished her studies in London with David Takeno.
In 2006, she received the highest accolade awarded to a Dutch musician, the Dutch Music Award.
